Women In Film and Television International (WIFTI) is a global network comprised of some 40 Women In Film (WIF) chapters worldwide and over 12,000 members dedicated to advancing professional development and achievement for women working in all areas of film, video, and other screen-based media.  It’s dynamic professionals represent every aspect of the industry.

Each chapter of WIFTI is run independently; however, each member of Women in Film and Television Atlanta (WIFTA) is automatically a member of WIFTI. Therefore, WIFTA members are encouraged to take advantage of all that WIFTI has to offer.

Through WIFTA’s participation in WIFTI, we have access to a database of each national or international chapter of Women in Film at our disposal.  This provides a direct contact and opportunity for resource and information sharing with our sister chapters worldwide.

In addition to the WIFTI Global Network, WIFTI also provides a members only Online International Membership Directory (WIFTI Online Directory). WIFTA members have a complimentary listing in, and access to, the WIFTI Online Directory. The WIFTI Online Directory allows WIFTA members to connect with individual Women in Film and Television members around the world. Searches may be performed in a number of ways, including by name, chapter, occupation, and even languages spoken.  We can utilize the WIFTI Online Directory to search for resources outside of Georgia , as well as serve as a resource to those international/non-local members planning to shoot their project or film in Atlanta.
