Why should I attend the Pitch It! Atlanta Pitchfest & Training?
This is your chance to get your ideas in front of the networks and production companies! With the training sessions beforehand, you will have the chance to learn tips and tricks and hone your pitch. For those throughout the Southeast, the Pitchfest is conveniently located in Atlanta, where filming in the state of Georgia is now #1 in the world!
What's included in the $399 ticket (or $299 for WIF members)?
With the Pitch It! Atlanta Pitchfest & Training Registration ticket, you are able to attend and pitch your ideas/projects at the main event on Saturday, August 17th, as well as all of the training sessions on July 20th, August 3rd and August 10th. We want you prepared to meet these decision makers, so sign up now for the Pitch Boot Camp on August 10th to prepare for your pitch at the pitch fest. Attendance is a requirement for some of the executives.
Can I attend an individual training session?
Yes, you can purchase a ticket to each of the individual training sessions for $99 per session. To attend the pitch fest on August 17th, however, you must purchase the main event ticket for $399 (or $299 for WIF members). The training sessions are included with the purchase of an event ticket and may also be purchased separately.
Am I required to attend the training sessions?
It is recommended (but not required) that you attend the training sessions so that you are equipped and prepared to pitch by industry standard. Each session was developed so that the community could put their best foot forward and make a professional presentation to the network executives and production companies.
Who will be in attendance at the Pitchfest?
This pitch event is an opportunity for writers/producers at every stage of the development process. In attendance: networks, production companies, studios, executive producers, management companies, distribution companies, investors, and entertainment attorneys. Please check the website regularly for updates to the list of attendees.
Who will I be able to pitch?
The following production companies and networks are confirmed, and we will continue to announce more!
How many pitches will I get and how long?
This will depend on how many executives we have confirmed as well as how many attendees we have registered. At the minimum, each attendee will have 3 companies/executives to pitch to but please keep checking here for the final number. Each attendee will get 3-5 minutes to pitch.
What materials should we be prepared to present?
That's what the teachers are here to let you know in the training sessions.

Will there be a networking event?
We are planning for the day of the pitch fest but details are TBD - stay tuned!
Will I be able to contact the executives?
This is left up to each executive but not before your pitch.
