Each month WIFTA provides events and educational programming to promote networking and professional development among its members and the general film/television industry at large.  Program topics cover a broad range of subject matter pertaining to all aspects of the industry and respective of the diverse composition of our membership. Special industry guests serve as Monthly Program speakers and panelists, providing engaging and empowering tips, tools and resources relevant to today’s marketplace.

Monthly Events and Programs:

  • are held each month

  • are open to both members & non-members

  • are FREE to members; non-members pay to attend

  • are held from 6:30pm until 8:30pm

From time to time, any or all of the above is subject to change, so please verify Event and Program details for the particular program you plan to attend. Monthly Programs are a great opportunity for non-members to get a sneak peek at just one of the many benefits of being a WIFTA member.

One of the key goals of WIFTA is to assist its members with professional training/learning opportunities that will have a positive impact on their career as a TV/Film/Video professional. While our PSA & Mentorship Program is a means for our organization to provide this opportunity in-house, we also recognize the need to provide additional opportunities. As such, we have partnered with several quality companies to offer internship experiences that will provide this training. WIFTA Currently offers two types of internships:

  • In-House Internships, which are internships with WIFTA that are based on the organization’s needs.

  • WIFTA Partners Internships, which are opportunities for WIFTA members in a variety of disciplines from top firms across metro-Atlanta.

If you are interested in doing an internship or externship with WIFTA, email us at with your resume and cover letter, which should include the area you’re interested in learning more. If we have a need and see a fit between your skill set, desired learning area and our needs, we will consider designing an internship for you!

If you’re interested in becoming a WIFTA Internship Program Partner please send an email to: Include in the subject “I Want To Be a WIFTA Internship Partner.”
